Creativity is one of the most powerful tools and sales person can posses, but it is also a muscle that needs flexing from time to time.
Many people think you are either born with creativity or not, but this is a convenient excuse.
Today I am going to share two powerful techniques that will get your creative juices flowing faster than a rocket powered canoe.
1 - Bat for the other side - To open your mind to new angles you need to see things from the other side of the argument. So practice switching your perspective. What would it look like from the perspective of the customer? Or an animal? or Brad Pitt?
2 - Find the bizarre connection - Creativity can often be as simple as connecting two seemingly un-related things. e.g “10 Sales Lessons You Can Learn from Britney Spears”.
These techniques may sounds a little “wacky” but nothing of any significance is ever achieved from the comfort zone! So have a play with these creativity techniques.
